Travelling allows for new experiences, a chance to view new cultures and create memories which often cannot be emulated.
Now, I do not claim to be a travel addict, however by chance and through careful planning around my holiday schedule at work optimising on every annual day has led me to visit 24 countries to date.
Am I on the hunt for 30 before 30? Who knows, who cares?
In a perfect world, I would clone myself, travel every month, and stay a week to 10 days in a different country. I believe that’s enough time, but digital nomads might argue it’s too short to truly experience the culture.
My goal when travelling is for sure to explore different cultures, eat a couple of meals as they do, dress the way they dress, even attempt to communicate in the way they communicate - google translate comes in clutch all the time.
However, I also have a limit and my style when travelling is a mix of adventure and visiting historic sites, but also boujee vibes and beach chills. This is what truly makes me come back from a holiday feeling fulfilled.
If you're similar in that sense, and travelling affords you the ability to explore the world in a way your current routine does not.
